My 50th Birthday in January 2023 is fast approaching! I have decided to take on a series of running challenges to raise funds for this wonderful, local, small charity. I am passionate about the work they do and I firmly believe every child and young person deserves an education and a safe environment to grow up in.

Challenges already booked include:

• 18th/19th June 2022 - Endure24 (Reading): 50 miles planned! DONE! ✅️
• 2nd/3rd July 2022 -  Endure24 (Leeds): 50 miles planned! DONE! ✅️
• 2nd September 2022 - Cotswold Classic 10 HILLY miles DONE! ✅️
• 2nd October 2022 - London Marathon DONE! ✅️
• NEW EVENT!!!! - 8th October - Wingwalking in Devon! DONE!! ✅️
• 16th October 2022 - Great South Run DONE!! ✅️
• NEW EVENT!! 2ND JANUARY - MY ACTUAL BIRTHDAY! HAWAII 5-0 Run in Surrey! DONE!! ✅️
• 8th January 2023 - San Francisco 15k - its going to be Chilly ❄️🥶 DONE!!! And it was a glorious sunny day! 😎☀️   Just one event to go.......✅️
• 15th January 2023 - Hawaii Ocean Front Marathon🏝☀️

The Fudge kitchen was a resounding success in August. So many of you were so generous so there will be more fudge - more flavours - during September.

There will be more in OCTOBER along with some new sweet treats.

November was a quiet month, fundraising wise. 

My beloved Father in Law died. I needed time to mourn his loss and say farewell. That took all my focus. 

So onwards to December. MORE FUDGERAISING!!

The Grand Finale - The Maui Oceanfront Marathon! 

Ordinarily, a challenge like this wouldn't phase me. However, in February, I had Covid and recovery has been a lengthy process - both mentally and physically. I'm really looking forward to taking on this challenge to regain my fitness and happiness, and to raise lots of money for this brilliant charity that I am very proud to represent.

I appreciate the cost of living is continuing to rise, and we may not have huge amounts to spare. Anything you can donate will be massively appreciated and make a tremendous difference to the young people African Children's Fund supports. Thank you in advance for your generosity and your support.
