Story
Alleyn's is coordinating its charitable efforts to support those affected by the crisis in Ukraine.
The Alleyn’s community took part in a sponsored walk around Dulwich Village, in aid of Save the Children on the final day of the Lent Term, Friday 1 April. The collections on the day raised over £3,000, which has been added to our total.
The school community is supporting Save the Children to help them deliver lifesaving aid to 3.5 million vulnerable children and their families by:
- Working in neighbouring countries to help the hundreds of thousands of people who have been forced to flee their homes
- Distributing essential supplies and winter kits of clothing and blankets as temperatures plunge below freezing
- Providing cash and vouchers assistance to families to meet basic needs like food, rent and medicines
- Offering vital mental health and psychosocial support to children and their families
- Providing access to safe, inclusive, education
