Story
Thank you for visiting this page.
If you would like to help people living with dementia, with Down’s syndrome, autism; help young people develop employability skills; help to tackle health inequalities…
…please give generously, and on behalf of all who will benefit, I thank you.
Our target is to raise £100,000.
Celtic Football Club was formed for the purpose of raising money for the poor in Glasgow. The Celtic FC Foundation continues this work today. Established in 2013 the Foundation has raised and spend over £27m on its initiatives.
In 2017 we cycled from Glasgow to Lisbon and raised over £80k for charity. In 2020 our plans to cycle to Milan were thwarted by Covid19.
In May 2023, we will cycle from Glasgow to Seville on the 20th anniversary of the UEFA Cup Final, when more than 80,000 supporters went to Spain to support their team, which resulted in a FIFA award for Best Supporters. We will follow in their footsteps, cycling over 1,600km from Glasgow to Seville.
All money raised goes to the Foundation; we pay our own costs.
