Unfortunately in 2023 I lost my partner in crime my grandma, more affectionately known as Super Gran, to cancer. Despite battling and beating it previously, this time it came back undetected and once we knew it was too late. Rotherham Hospice looked after my grandma amazingly in her final week and we couldn't have asked anything more from the staff. They don't just make sure the patient is comfortable they look after the whole family. Nothing was too much trouble and the least I can do is to try and raise some money to ensure this care is still available when unfortunately another family needs it.
