Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been working hard to get fit over the past year without a goal, but challenged by my Sister-in-law I decided to take part in the Bleheim Palace Sprint Triathlon and raise money for leukaemia in the process.  My aim is to finish with a smile on my face and to enjoy the experience.

Leukaemia is not only a very worth while cause, but also one that is very close to my heart and my family.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Just to update you all:

I finished my first Triathlon.  I did have a smile on my face thanks to all the support I got around the course and on the run down the finishing straight.

I don't know if enjoyed is quite the word for the experience, the uphill climb to the finish line was punishing, however, Will I do it again? - Probably :-)

Time: 1:51:09.  Swim 17:25 (including a punshing 400m steep run up to transition), Bike 51:30, Run 34:18.
