Story
Hi All,
Yes... for some reason I have decided to put myself through 26.2 miles of pain, sweat and yes months of whinging about chaffed nipples and blisters on my already quite deformed feet by trudging round the streets of London!
For those of you that I see often and know me well, you will know that I am generally unfit and have never done anything like this before! So as much as I am looking forward to a healthy diet, no alcohol, no cigarettes (or lets face it... just less!!!) I would like to invite you to share in my pain and what I am sure will be my embaressment as I crawl my way around the course being overtaken by old age pensioners, people in fancy dress and to be honest just about anyone with a pulse!
Why not sponsor me and know that I would not be able to put myself through the race without your help! So I hope you dig deep and then allow yourself a smile or a chuckle at the thought of me attempting something that is normally reserved for the super fit, motivated and healthy of people (not a tubby, unfit, unhealthy, lazy git such as myself!)
Now for the serious bit...
I am running for UNICEF who provide care and support for some of the most deprived children around the world and here in the UK, with all your donations going to such a good cause please be as generous as possible!!! I do hope you can help me reach my ambitious target and enjoy the feeling of making a difference in a child's life.
Also if you are able to donate or not please feel free to come down on the day and have a cheap laugh and a couple of beers after...
Cheers and Big Love x
