Hi all, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part, along with other lovely ladies from the Thomson clan, in the 10 mile Glasgow Life Walk around our  city to raise money for Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres. This event takes place 3rd October 2009, starting  Kelvingrove Park & finishing at Maggie's Glasgow Centre.

This may come as a surprise or shock to those who doubt my fitness, but i can advise some sort of training is underway.However,  I imagine an umbrella & welly boots will be the best preparatory tools under my belt.

Maggie's Centres provide practical & emotional support to anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis. Funds raised help support families, friends & carers who have been touched by cancer. I think it is realistic to say, that we all have.

 

I would be grateful if you would help support me in raising funds for this wonderful  & worthwhile cause.

Also, why not come along on the day & give ' us girls ' ( there will be quite a few )  a cheer, a laugh, some fast food & a glass of wine while en route round our fabulous city!
