Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. On Sunday 26th October, I will be one of 21,000 runners taking part in Europe's leading 10 mile road race, the Bupa Great South Run.  I am training 3 times a week, slowly improving my distance, but am more a jogger than a runner really!  All proceeds to The Elizabeth Foundation for deaf children.  Here is a pic of my son, Jeff, during a one-to-one session at The Elizabeth Foundation way back in 1995.  I am anxiously watching in the background!

About the charity

The Elizabeth Foundation is a Family Centre with baby, toddler and pre-school sessions for deaf children and their families. We follow the 'Multi Sensory Oral Approach', to develop speech, language and listening skills by using all of the child's senses in a natural, fun, child-centred environment.
