Imagine the horror of being told that your child was terminally ill. Imagine how badly you would want to do anything at all that would help them through the pain and fear of treatment. Every day, Starlight Children's Foundation does exactly that - it helps to brighten the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by granting them a wish. Anything at all - that they decide upon - from spending a day at the local fire station, to swimming with dolphins, to visiting Santa in Lapland - that helps to take their minds off their illness and give them something to look forward to and to talk about at a time when they have little control over decisions being made for them.

Parents talk afterwards about how much their wish meant to the child and the difference it made to their life. Starlight receives no government or Lottery money, so is totally dependent on private and corporate sponsorship. Please help us to raise as much as we can to support the work of this wonderful charity.
