Black Country Memory Walk 2012 · 22 September 2012 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

As you may be aware my mother in law Jean Brannon lost her battle with Alzheimer's in 2009.

She battled with the early stages of dementia to severe Alzheimers for 17 years. Jean was extremely lucky she had a loving and dedicated family around her who cared for her at home to ensure she kept as much dignity as possible.

Jean's Mother, Auntie, Brother and Nephew have also suffered or are still suffering from this cold and cruel disease.

Thank you for supporting me to take part in Memory Walk this year and raise much needed funds for Alzheimer's Society.

The smallest of donations can make the biggest of differences. Thank you x
