Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In February 2022 it will be 50 years since we lost our father Ivor from cancer aged just 34. We have decided that we would like to fundraise for a medical charity in his memory. I have been working at The Griffin Institute now for three years and we desperately need funds to continue our vital work. If we can raise £10k we will dedicate a lab to our parents. Please join me in fundraising for this charity.

30% of what we raise will be donated to Grief Encounter, a charity that aims to relieve the emotional distress of bereaved children, young people and their families. Nothing like this existed when we lost our father.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
