Story

Brain tumour research is a charity very close to my heart.

It effects so many people around me and we keep seeing more and more cases 😢

It all started for me In October  2017. When I started to help raise money to pay for treatment to give our gorgeous Stacie her last wish.

One final Christmas with her children. 💔Stacie sadly passed away in Jan 2018.💜

In June 2022 we sadly lost the most beautiful soul - my sister in-laws mum Fay 💛

Fay was the most lovable person you could ever meet. Always the life and soul of any party and had the purest heart of gold who we miss beyond words.

In February 2022, whilst Fay was still with us  took part in a Facebook challenge - 10k steps a day to raise money for brain tumour research and along with a raffle we raised over £1000!

So I’m doing it again this year in memory of Fay and all the others that were tragically taken from us 💛

To celebrate their lives and raise vital funds we’re also doing a family fun day at The Quakerwood Pub (woodthorpe) on Saturday 2nd March!

Whilst doing the challenge and family fun day we will be thinking of Jack and his family - Jack is only 9 but the bravest little fighter I have ever seen along with his parents who are doing everything the possibly can 💙

Brain tumours like any cancer doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care if you’re someone’s mum, dad, sibling or child!

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.
