Gilda was a very special person who left a mark on the lives of everyone she met. When she was diagnosed with cancer in March 2014 she didn't let it get her down she wanted to be sure that she left her husband Tim, children, family and friends with happy memories and the support they needed to lead fulfilled and happy lives after she was gone. 

Her drive to live every moment as well as she could meant she didn't waste a second.

Chai offered incredible support to Gilda and her family throughout her fight to help her achieve her aims. They continue to do so now that she has gone. Their facilities provide a comfortable surrounding for families in need, including  a teen room and music councilling. They have councilling to suit everyone's needs. Their staff are sympathetic, practical and non-judgemental.
