Story
Our son Jack was born 15 weeks premature last year and had to spend the first few months of his life on the neonatal intensive care ward at the RVI in Newcastle. Without the help of all the men and women who worked there, Jack wouldn't have made it. After a long 13 weeks, Jack finally came home on Alison’s birthday.
So after all the help and support they give us we have decided that every year for 13 weeks (April 21st - July 24th), in honour of the care Jack received when on the unit, we will raise money for Tiny Lives to help support the amazing work they do, the brilliant staff and the brave parents and babies on ward 35.
Liam is doing a weight loss challenge for the full 13 weeks and is looking for sponsors. For every 1lb he loses, you would donate £1 to the Tiny Lives charity. If this is something you’d be interested in helping with, please contact us and we will grab your details for the sponsor sheet.
Alison (and some fabulous family and friends from our baby gym class Sweaty Mama South East Northumberland) are starting off by attempting to walk 250k steps in May! This will be a mega challenge for me 😂
.
We are also planning on doing a charity walk at some point in the next 3 months “13miles for 13 weeks” and then any other challenges we can fit in!
Jack is so strong and brave, he's our inspiration!♥️💙
