Trek for loved ones, and raise money to support people devastated by dementia. Explore the rural landscape of the Cotswolds as you trek through ancient woodlands, wildflower meadows and historic Cotswold stone villages.

Story

Dementia takes a toll on individuals and families. My Mum has been affected for over 10 years. She has needed support for about 6, 3 at home by my sister and brother-in-law and then in a care home. Her life has changed a great deal. She now needs lots of support.

I am walking with my brother-in-law Laurence, who’s mum is also living in care with dementia, and my friend Angela, who’s mum died last year after many years of living with dementia. We are supporting the Alzheimer’s Society to help them support people, raise awareness and to fund research.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
