Story
Marie Curie supported our family in 2020. My sister and I were so grateful for their support and the nights they provided rest for us as a family.
Unfortunately Marie Curie nurses rely so much on donations and many families miss out on this vital care.
This year would have been Dad’s 80th birthday so I decided to challenge myself and my pink mug in travelling the equivalent distance from John O Groats to Lands End.
Walking , running and biking provided me with the headspace to support Dad and as we couldn’t have donations at his funeral this year I have made it my aim to raise desperately needed funds for the local Marie Curie nurses who provided care for Dad.
If you can give anything no matter how small it would mean so much to me. Xx
Marie Curie provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness across the UK. Our nurses work night and day in peoples homes and our hospices offer specialist care. We also support people emotionally, provide practical information, and match them with trained volunteers.
