We support people to help rebuild lives after stroke.

Story

The Stroke Association is a charity very much close to my heart. A year ago I was appointed Musical Director of Wales's first stroke choir - 'Strike A Chord Cymru'.

Strike A Chord Cymru were formed in June 2014 and have gone from strength to strength. We started with just seven members who came to sing together for an hour but we have grown to over 20 members who have bonded into a true choir, who are performing in public and who have great ambitions for the future.

Singing is so healing and this choir is proof of that. The confidence this has given to this incredible group of individuals is magical.

So, to keep this good work going I'm going to run around Cardiff, possibly in the rain, for a couple of hours on their behalf and for everyone else who has been effected by strokes.
