Story
Hi,
My name is Alison Roberts and I am 18 years old. Unfortunately, on the 12/01/11 I lost my disabled sister at a very young age. It was such a shock and so terribly upsetting and neither myself or family could cope.
Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) is a charity that works to improve the lives of disabled children and their families. They also help with bereavement, arranging funerals etc.
Fortunately, CHSW was around to help our family get through the terrible times and have continued the support. This would not be possible if it wasn't for the generous donations that people give.
I want to raise money, as well as awareness in the honour of my so dearly beloved sister and help the work continue. I am doing a 12-hour charity dance on 11/03/11 at The Student Union Bar, Cornwall College, Camborne, Cornwall. I know that many people may not be able to attend the event but can always still donate if they wish.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. A little REALLY does do a lot for children on borrowed time, thankyou.
