Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am cycling 100 kms to raise money for Macmillan. My husband, Ben, was diagnosed with cancer in November 2013 and died just over 10 months later. His Macmillan nurse, Caroline, was a constant when his world was out of control. She provided many things from wise counsel to a shoulder to cry on to prescribing pain relief. She was an absolute star and Ben appreciated her support so much.
He absolutely loved cycling and inspired others to get on their bikes. The least I can do is get off my backside and onto the saddle to try and raise some money so others can have a Caroline, when they need her most.
