We support bereaved children and families to help rebuild their lives

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those who don't know our story. In October 2017 our little boy Charlie at the age of 9 months was taken ill suddenly, and diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. Shortly after he was placed on the Urgent transplant list. Charlie spent 5 months in hospital, during which time he celebrated his first Christmas, first birthday and his baby sisters twins Lizzy and Rosie were born. In February 2018 Charlie received his life saving heart transplant.

Charlie is now 2 years old and is growing up to be a loving, caring and funny little boy.

Charlie's donor, and their family are never far from our thoughts. As we approach the first anniversary of Charlie receiving his new heart, we would like to do something to honour them, and give thanks.

We have already raised money for charities that helped us during our time in hospital and so now feel it is right to raise money for a charity who support families experiencing the loss of a loved one.

Thankyou.

Ali, Carl, Charlie, Lizzy and Rosie
