As you probably know I'm running the Great North Run in aid of Beating Bowel Cancer on Sunday 19th September, what a great way to celebrate your  birthday weekend... looking forward to a well deserved piece of birthday cake at the end of it!

I'm doing this as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award, the physical recreation section and also due to mum's friend Gail, Hello Gail!! It's obviously a very big challenge to take on but I thought seeing as it's my last part of Duke of Edinburgh I might as well do something to remember!

If anybody is in Newcastle on the 19th September I would really appreciate your support if you came along to cheer me on, preferrably with a piece of birthday cake!!
