Great Nottingham bike Ride · 23 June 2019

Every year we help thousands of people to reduce their impact on the environment. Our work reduces congestion on the roads, improves the air we breathe and gives people of all ages and abilities ways to enjoy walking and cycling.

Story

RideWise is a Nottingham based charity working with a range of groups; children, families, jobseekers, those with disabilites, those who may be visually impaired and many others. They run projects such as Community Cycle Centres, Learn 2 Cycle, Build a Bike, provide training and a bike for jobseekers to get to job interviews, provide Bikeability within Nottingham schools and much more. All of these projects enable their cycle instructors to teach people how to cycle safely and confidently on the roads. They work to inspire and enable families to get out and active together. All of these projects are fully funded for those that need to access them, but funding is not always guaranteed and we want to raise money to keep our Community Cycle Centres open. This will mean we can continue to offer our services to support more people and also encourage them to make greener transport choices to help our environment.
