Story

Cancer is something that affects everyone. I don’t know anyone who hasn’t experienced it in some form or another.

A couple of years ago I gave up alcohol for a month to raise money for cancer research. This year I have had a few people close to me who have been affected by cancer. Some are in remission, some are still battling and some have lost their fight. Seeing how tough these people have been has made me want to challenge myself further. Anyone who knows me knows i like the odd beer or glass of wine 😳😂 so I have decided to give up alcohol for September and October to raise as much money as possible and complete something, I myself, will find quite challenging.

I would appreciate anything little you can spare - more and more people are surviving this disease now and that is down to the research and what we know about it. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and please donate if you can, even if it is a pound, it all adds up - I am now off to enjoy my last few days of beers for a while 😂😂
