On the 17th February 2011 my incredible husband Alex Lewis passed away after a long battle with Osteoscarcoma. Since then we have been raising money for a charity that was very special to him.
In less than 2 weeks I am cycling 100 miles around London and Surrey to raise money for the Bone Cancer Research Trust. This will be a real challenge for me as I have only ever cycled 56 miles in one day before. I have been training really hard so any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Around 450 people are diagnosed with bone cancer each year in the UK and Republic of Ireland, mainly affecting children and young people between the ages of 10 and 24. The most common types of bone cancer are osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma.
