Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The Grand Appeal is the main charity that raises money for Bristol Childrens Hospital, the hospital that treated my very brave and wonderful cousin, Georgia Astbury. The team on the cardiac ward were able to give us the fantastic 17 years we had with Georgia.
This is to say thank you for the help, support and treatment they gave to Georgia, before she passed away in March 2011.
The Grand Descent is an abseil down the outside of the main building of Bristol Children's Hospital (not going down in the lift!!) and at Georgia's Mum's request I will be descending as a frog, which was Georgia's favourite animal. I promise to post photo's as not only proof of my descent but that I did it dressed as a frog!!!!!
Mission Complete!!! That was the most nerve-wracking, exhilerating and adrenaline fuelled thing I've done in a long time! Not to mention emotional! I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this page and a huge thank you to everyone who has sponsored me!!
