Story
When Annalisa asked me to run the Belfast Marathon approx 1 year ago I laughed and said that I would do it knowing fine rightly that I can't even "Run up the stairs". But when you hear the stories about the children in Zambia, how hard it is for them to raise money for the 60 orphans and the passion that Nikki and Ziso have for these children, I thought right lets do it for real.
So after a very bad ankle injury, I put my mind to it and in November started out running! Going from 100yrds to 200, I finally agreed that I would do 7 MILES arghhhh !!!! Its been tough going, through icy and frosty weather, I kept going knowing it was for a FANTASTIC cause and I was determined not to give up!!
I'm now up to 6.5 miles and have to admit that I love the thought of getting out for a Run.
I ask you to please please dig deep and realise that every penny that we raise is going to build homes, food, dress and educate these 60 wonderful children.
Many thanks
Alison
