Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
In December I turn 40, and whilst a party or trip away would probably be a more conventional way to celebrate, doing something that absolutely scares the life out of me, for a charity that means the world to our family seemed like the perfect way to mark the occasion!
Originally Sean was going to be ground support (meaning he was in charge of William and the girls, and making bum jokes as I descended) but after William passed away he could take part with me - and shockingly agreed to do so!
I'm so glad he did - we both have a fear of heights, but we have faced much worse than this together (well that's what I'll be telling myself, that and DON'T LOOK DOWN!!)
Rainbows helped us so much during William's life, and truly did ensure he was able to have the best death possible, peacefully, and surrounded by people who loved him. They have helped us so much face this next stage of family life without William - knowing everyone did their absolute best for him.
So many people have supported us already, but if you could spare even £1 that would be so appreciated!! My 40th birthday money will make up any shortfall to meet our fundraising commitment.
Thank you lovely people for taking time to read our page. If you fancy a laugh, and have an bum jokes we are "going over the edge" at 3.20pm on 4th October!!
