Story
The walk is over but the donation page is still live! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, we are just amazed by your generosity. Xx
Alison and David Footitt are doing the Glasgow Big Stroll Kiltwalk on 30 April 2023 to raise money for the National Autistic Society Highland Service. This service provides advice and information for families and professionals supporting autistic children and young people in Highland. The service is also an integral part of the Pines team. The Pines team is based in Inverness and supports autistic and neurodivergent children and young people across the region. The NAS Highland Service supports the team by funding Pines services such as the Pines Library and the amazing Pines website https://www.thepineshighland.com
Why are we fundraising? We are raising funds for autism support in Highland. Our aim is to fund the Pines website and library for at least 12 months, these are totally charity funded. The website’s advice about autism and other neurodiverse conditions is used across Highland and more widely in Scotland. The website runs on a tiny budget, £500 will fund the site for 12 months. Additional funding will help buy more resources such as library and eBooks. Every penny will make a difference. Thanks for your support and the amazing donations so far.
