How the conversation went from we should go jogging around Stockley Park to we should run a marathon, nobody remembers. However, the running team (Peter N, Robin,TJ,Amit,Jacob,Sarah, Jenny, Julie, Peter B and Alison) will be sharing the 26 miles between them on a course around Maidenhead on June 12th. All the runners will be doing their best - for some that will be running the furthest they ever have, some the fastest and some in their first race.

The sponsorship team is YOU. Please help us on the way to winning the cup for the most sponsorship....because we sure won't be winning the race! If you are local, come and support us. There is a Carnival at the same time so there is plenty to keep you and your family amused.

The charity is the Link Foundation. They are a small local charity that raise about £100K PA for disadvantaged children. Their philosophy is that small things can make a difference so grants range from football boots for children whose parents can't afford it, days out, support for children in families with domestic violence  and specialist eqiupment for children with disabiliites.
