Story
I have lost both my mum and my little sister to cancer. My sister Helen was only 33 and My mum was only 58. The cancers were totally unrelated and not hereditary. It was just bad bad luck. My sister leaves behind my niece Annabelle who is 3, her husband, my dad, god bless him, is just amazing in how he copes and me and my family, Stu, Harriet and Martha and of course some wonderful friends.
I didn't know what charities like St Teresa's do until I experienced it first hand....I hope you never need to. But this place is amazing...not only do they help people with life limiting illnesses like cancer but also support their families and people who fight on, who need additional outpatient support which isn't available on the NHS. They get very little government funding and so rely, sadly on people like you and I to give what we can to provide this vital service.
