For years now I've been saying that I'd like to attempt a half-marathon and having discovered there is one taking place in Northampton on Sunday 8th April I thought 'there's no time like the present' and have decided to run and raise money for Northamptonshire Community Foundation (NCF).

NCF is a great charity that supports the local community.  All money raised stays right here in the county.  My employer is a 100 Club Member and through this I have been fortunate enough to sit on a grant-giving panel so have got to see where the money goes and having attended their Annual Awards evenings I can assure you it goes to lots of very worthwhile groups!

I have started my training and have been running in VERY cold conditions so please dig deep and give what you can....it will be very much appreciated! :-)
