As lots of you are probably aware, I have taken on the challenge of the Great North Run in Newcastle on the 16th September 2012. The race is 13.1 miles and I'm informed that it's an extremely hard course.

I have been training hard and am determined to finish no matter how long it takes but my aim is for under 2 hours.

I have chosen Cancer Research UK as it is a very worthwhile cause and as we all know the disease claims lives and destroys families every year.

I am hoping you will be kind enough to show, both me and the Charity,your support by making a dnation no matter how large or small. Every penny counts.
