Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our ‘Alison Cycles for the NHS’ page.
To honour the inspirational efforts of Captain Tom Moore, who has now raised over £30 million for the NHS by walking over 100 lengths of his back garden before his 100th birthday, CEO of activpayoll Alison Sellar, is set to cycle over 300km in just three days to help raise vital funds for the NHS.
In May, Alison was set to take part in Cycle Croatia, a three-day charity cycle across Croatia, however due to the ongoing outbreak of coronavirus, this has now been postponed to next year.
Always one for a challenge, Alison has decided to complete the cycle from home, covering the same distance and same route in just three days, completing it all on her spin bike.
To celebrate Captain Tom Moore, Alison will start the cycle on Tuesday 28th April and finish the cycle on Thursday 30th April (Tom's 100th birthday) in time for the weekly NHS clap. All funds raised will go to NHS Charities Together, supporting NHS staff and volunteers caring for Covid-19 patients.
