Story
St Luke's Hospice relies on voluntary contributions for 60% of its funding. Due to the Covid-19 crisis charity shops have been closed and fundraising events postponed.
St Luke's has been supporting more patients than ever before, including patients with Covid-19, and continues to provide a vital service for terminally ill patients.
Alison and David will be doing a Midday Walk on 25th July on behalf of St Luke's Hospice and in memory of Bea Holloway, a life-long friend and a treasured member of the Harrow community in which she lived and taught and to which she gave of her time and talents most generously.
After a long illness, Bea was able to die in her own home gently and with dignity because of the generous, compassionate and steadfast care of the Home Hospice Care team from St Luke Hospice, Kenton.
