My friend and colleague, Andrew Herbert, has recently been diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) at the age of 51. In Andrews true style he will not be beaten and is committed to raising awareness about MND and to help others.  MND is a rare condition that can affect anyone at any age but is more common in the over 50s.

We will be walking the Thames Path from Hambledon to Pangbourne a distance of approximately 17.5 miles on Saturday 3rd September.    If still walking in a straight line we will match the mileage the following week in the North Yorkshire Moors to arrive at a grand total of 35 miles.
