We have been 'hitting the road' and putting our metal to the pedals to get fit for one of the bigger challenges of our mid-years!  

This is all about raising as much money as we can (along with others) to invest funds in the City Hospital's Breast Institute - a remarkable facility for individuals being scanned for, or receiving treatment for, breast cancer.  

The plan is that someone else's sister will have their cancer detected early.  Someone else will be saved.  

Katy was our greatest friend and the best sister anyone could hope for - she was dignified, gentle and brave.  

Let's hope we can manage at least one of these attributes as we struggle into the padded pants and head for the highs and lows of the Coast 2 Coast route.
