I am running the Great North Run this year for a very special reason for Carer Support South Lakes as currently I myself have been in a caring role and knowing Carer Support South Lakes have Carer Connect throughout the UK which supports and connects unpaid carers has helped and supported me and my family to connect and know where to go for help.  We will all be in this capacity at some point in our lives and to have backup when we need it is crucial in these times.
