The #Back2SchoolChallenge

SKT Welfare has established 3 schooling Centres in Jordan and Turkey. The #Back2School Challenge aim to raise money for Al-Huda Centre located in Irbid, Jordan. The Centre provides schooling to hundreds of Syrian refugee children and mature students.

Currently there are 10 full-time teachers providing a vibrant and healthy learning environment, with their objective going beyond education. Many of these children have been traumatised by the imagery of war. To undertake such challenges specialised teachers have been selected with backgrounds in psychological care.  Also on a regular basis the Al-Huda Centre hands out gifts and financial support to those that are most impoverished.

SKT Welfare view education as the key to rebuilding Syria. To build on this vision our aim is to raise a collective £15,000 for the Al-Huda Centre over Ramadan 2014. In sha'Allah.
