Story
Our younger brother Callum was 15 in 2009 when he left us. He could be described as popular, good looking, great sportsman, healthy and loved. He was unsullied by some of the responsibilities of adulthood but by the equal relative worries all carry at our current stage of on the journey. He wasn’t knowingly upset sad or suffering on the surface.
One day suddenly he was gone.
There are many regrets and a huge Callum shape hole that cannot be filled however part of his positive legacy is that he had brought our family closer and in his name he reminds us every day that life is both precious and fragile at the same time and that if and when we find our selves in a fog we must give this time to lift and hold on to the knowledge that the light always follows the darkness if we let it.
By walking from the dark in to the light I hope we can spread this message of hope to all involved young and old alike that good things are in store for all of us.
Tough times never last tough people do and everyone has that toughness, we just need to remind ourselves and let our struggles pass And run there course..
We are walking this route as clear metaphor for life and give highlight to the message that our happiest times lie ahead of us only if we let them come and often we appreciate them all the more after we have overcome our obstacles.
