Ali's life was increasingly impacted by the late effects of the cancer treatment she underwent as a teenager. The chemo and radiotherapy gave her 40 more years but eventually the health issues they caused led to her early death at the age of 60. 

Ali was gifted, creative, funny, kind, immensely compassionate and wise. She was keen to be involved in research into the late effects of cancer treatment. CCLG's Life After Childhood Cancer Research Fund is a restricted fund for research into late effects. Donating in her memory will contribute to the funding of this vital research which meant so much to Ali.
