We provide surgical training and equipment to give children a better life.

Story

Thank you for supporting us.

We have created this page for people who recently read the article in the Telegraph Magazine on little Ali Hussein, many of you who have been very moved by the tragedy that struck Ali and his family as well as so many other people.

With Monica we are trying to raise the funds to cover Ali's next treatment but also to raise the funds to offer him and others the opportunity to receive the education that they richly deserve.

While some of this is outside of the remit of our organisation per say, we are working with Monica to raise these funds. However for those donors who would prefer their funds to go to our general fundraising (for all children with facial disfigurements and not specifically for Ali) please specify this directly or go to one of our other fundraising pages such as www.justgiving.com/facingtheworld. This page will only be our "main" link for a short period to aid people moved by the article on Ali.

(Those people who donated this morning for Ali your funds will also be earmarked for him)

If anyone is interested in attending the Scrabble evening on Saturday 21 April please email Monica Garnsey at monica.garnsey@gmail.com.

For all those who have and are helping Ali and children like him we are extremely greatful. Your help will allow these remarkably resiliant and brave children a chance at the childhood and future that they deserve.

FTW has pioneered a bold new approach to sustainable healthcare, resulting in self-run centres of excellence. This approach ensures that children born with facial differences can receive the surgery they need, and that these centres can be replicated both nationally and internationally.
