The world's rhino species are currently facing one of the greatest threats to their survival in history. Extensive poaching for the rhino horn continues to threaten the survival of this iconic species with at least 1,054 rhino being poached in 2016 in South Africa alone. By supporting Save the Rhino International you are supporting the dedicated rangers on anti-poaching patrols day and night, the conservation officers educating the next generation of wildlife protectors and the behaviour changers working tirelessly with local enforcement agencies to reduce the demand for rhino horn in Asia.

For 11 of the most incredible years of my life, I had the privilege to work with black and white rhino, translocating them to areas that had been poached out of rhino, who were stable and secure enough to protect populations again.  I will travel to London to run for every rhino I have had the pleasure to know, for every one of their offspring, their offspring's offspring, and all of the scouts, conservationists, monitoring teams, rangers, project managers, law enforcement officers, and researchers who work tirelessly to keep them alive.
