We are raising funds to support our global neighbours who are facing extreme poverty and those who have been thrust further into poverty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team are going to be walking the length of Afghanistan from NE to SW which is 1,240km by doing roughly 40km a week until the 30th of April to cover this. We would love for you to support us during these next few weeks so we can hopefully raise £1,000. 

By donating we are enabling local Tearfund partners to provide for the needs of those facing homelessness and vulnerability. With a donation of £50 Tearfund are able to provide 45 days worth of food for families who have lost their homes and with the full £1,000 this is roughly 900 days worth of food!

Since the pandemic began, Tearfund and our local partners and churches have been responding to the needs of vulnerable communities all over the world. This has included providing emergency food packages during lockdowns, setting up hand-washing stations in communities, and distributing face masks and hygiene supplies.
