Each year, community members gather at Newburyport's Waterfront Park to walk a scenic 3-mile route in honor of victims and survivors of domestic violence, and to raise needed funds for the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center.

Story

I am looking forward to walking alongside my coworkers, family, friends and community members in this year's Walk Against Domestic Violence.

Every day I see the important work and impact that the services at Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center provide to people who do not feel safe at home. Your donation goes directly to those services, helping provide safety and support, and empowering survivors to find independence and healing.

Our mission is to empower individuals and engage communities to end domestic violence. We offer free, comprehensive services that support adult and child survivors healing from the trauma of domestic abuse; prevention programs in schools; and tools to reduce domestic violence homicides.
