Thanks for visiting my page, and thank you to everyone who has already donated and been so amazingly generous and supportive.
On April 26th I ran in the London Marathon to raise money for the North London Hospice. As most of you know, my beautiful brother Joseph died in the Hospice two years ago after a nine month battle with cancer. The end of Joseph's life was painful, frightening and dreadful for everyone - especially him. The Hospice helped him, and us in many ways, the staff were always kind and caring, the facilities were brilliant and we were all made to feel so welcome and supported.
I ran with my great friend Hayley www.justgiving.com/hayleyingham who also ran for the Hospice, Hayley's lovely mum Rosemary also died under the care of the Hospice in 2005.
Joseph was a far superior athlete to me in every way. He was training for the triathlon before his diagnosis and I hope this is a fitting tribute to his memory.
I know that this year is probably the worst year to be raising money, just donate whatever you feel able. The Hospice is primarily funded by charitable donations and in the current financial climate will be struggling to maintain funds - any amount will be helpful.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: North London Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you
