It is with great sadness that we announce that Alice Scarlett Wakeling, beloved daughter of David and Sara Wakeling, passed away peacefully on 8th October 2019, aged 7, following a battle with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer, for almost 5 years.

As anyone who knows David and Sara can imagine, they have been and continue to be indefatigable in their drive, energy and passion to help others in similar circumstances. To this end they have founded Alice’s Arc, a children’s cancer charity, which has already raised over £500,000 towards research into childhood cancer, and has pledged to raise an additional £1,000,000 over the next three years.

Alice’s journey has been closely followed by many of us and we know there is a huge depth of sympathy, friendship and support for David and his family throughout the firm.
