Event: London Marathon 2024, on 21 April 2024
Our incredible London Marathon team are taking on 26.2 miles to raise funds to improve diagnosis and treatment, and to fund research into finding a cure; to raise awareness and to give people hope, comfort and confidence to live freer, fuller lives.

Story

I was first diagnosed with ulcerative colitis not long after having my first child. Having suffered with tummy problems for years before this it was a massive relief to finally have answers and be able to start to try and make me better. Having finally found treatment that works for me, it has massively changed my life for the better. Yes I have flare ups and sometimes it can be bad but compared to how I was my life has changed massively. Now it’s my turn to give something back and make people more aware about Crohn’s and Colitis.

Crohn's & Colitis UK are the UK's leading charity for Crohn's and Colitis. Right now, over 500,000 people in the UK are living with a lifelong disease that many people have never heard of. I am taking part in the 2024 TCS London Marathon to support Crohn's & Colitis UK, and your donation can help Crohn's & Colitis UK's mission to improve diagnosis and treatment; to fund research and raise awareness.
