This summer I am going to Malawi this summer with the GOLD team. Six of us will be spending three weeks helping train the Malawi Girl Guide leaders

Malawi is a small country in Africa.Its known as the heart of Africa as the people are so friendly. But it is a poor country - half of its population live below the poverty line.

However the MGGA is a group that helps improve the lives of  girls in Malawi. And this summer im lucky enough to be able to work with the MGGA and contribute to Girl Guiding in Malawi.

But i need some help from my friends and family, any donations will be greatly appreciated.I will be selling badges and holding local events to  raise money.

But my main personnal challenge is a row across Lake Malawi - the lake is 52 km wide and I intend to row this distance on the rowing machines in my school gym over the next few months. I will update my distance each week. Any sponsorship you are able to give to support me would be wonderful.
