On February 20th 2013 whilst lying in our arms, Alice finally left this world, aged just under 1 year old. There are simply no words that can accurately describe the gut wrenching agony, pain and desolation we feel for our loss. 

And yet these emotions are totally at odds with what Alice bought to our lives. Alice was a joyous and happy child, filled with wisdom and spirit, who lived her short life to the full. It wasn’t for nothing that we nicknamed her ‘chuckles’, it was because she so frequently did. She had a ready smile that lit up rooms as well as brightened lives. She had a knowing look that belied her years which many experienced and were therefore engaged by her soulful and deep eyes.

Her final hours were spent at the incomparable Shooting Stars Hospice who ensured that Alice remained at peace and pain free, and we are collecting funds in Alice's name for all the good work they do.
