Story
Hi everyone! I'm raising money for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, which focuses on the rescue and long-term conservation of endangered mammals, from rhinos and elephants, to tigers and snow leopards.
Poaching and loss of habitat has resulted in us facing the very real risk of losing these incredible animals within our lifetime; DSWF's work is not just ensuring that the crisis is addressed today, but ensuring that future generations can help prevent it from worsening.
You will see below how much of a difference your donations can make:
£15 Funds GPS data transfer from a tracking collar for one month (for snow leopards or elephants) OR £15 can pay for a hammock and mosquito net for a Park Ranger out in the field to protect tigers and rhinos
£20 provides a month of food for one orphaned elephant – helping them on their way to return to the wild.
£30 purchases a pair of handcuffs for a Park Ranger to apprehend poachers.
£50 will educate over 300 students in schools in India about the importance of protecting tigers and rhinos.
£100 will fund a camera trap to track tigers and deter poachers.
£150 will provide a new Ranger with a survival kit; including a walkie-talkie, high powered torch, cooking pots and leech socks –so that they can stand between endangered animals and those who wish to harm them OR it can provide a month of secure field lodgings for a Ranger in India
£200 will buy and fit an ‘anti-snare’ collar, which saves the lives of beautiful African painted dogs OR £200 will pay for a GPS camera to track tigers in Thailand.
The smallest of donations would be greatly appreciated, so thank you very, VERY much in advance!
